Move-In Procedures

Know before move-in day

Review the key steps before arriving at the office so move-in day goes smoothly.

Pick up your move-in packet and keys from the Tiger Properties office at 387 College Avenue in downtown Clemson.
Expect heavier traffic when the office opens at 9:00 AM during peak move-in periods.
Pay the entire first month's rent and any security deposit or pet fees before keys can be released to any tenant.
Complete the move-in condition form from your packet and return it as soon as possible.
If something needs repair, submit a maintenance request through the resident portal because the condition form is not a maintenance request.

Resident FAQs

When can I move in?
You can move in on the lease start date listed on your lease.
What time can I pick up my keys?
You can pick up your keys during normal office hours. We recommend calling ahead.
Can I move in early?
Unless our office contacts you saying otherwise, the earliest you will be able to move in is your lease start date.
Do I have to pay rent to pick up my keys?
Yes. The entire first month's rent for the entire unit is due before any keys can be picked up.
What should I do if there is something wrong with my unit when I move in?
We apologize if anything has been overlooked. Use the resident portal selector to reach the correct portal for your community, submit a maintenance request there, and also note the problem on your move-in condition form.
When will the items on my move-in condition form be addressed?
The move-in condition form is used during move-out to determine whether any damage was done to the unit, so it will be filed immediately and typically will not be reviewed until you move out. If you need us to address a maintenance issue, please submit a maintenance request through the resident portal instead.
How do I get utilities turned on?
You are responsible for utilities. If you have not already contacted the utility companies, such as Duke Energy, Clemson Water, AT&T, and Northland Cable, you should contact them immediately.
